Headington Site Visitor Parking between the 28th August to 31st December 2017
The Clerici refurbishment project is nearing completion and it is now necessary to reduce the car parking capacity at Gipsy Lane (Headington) site for maintenance and landscaping. This is to ensure the safety of students, staff and visitors during the construction period.
Individuals with a council issued Blue Badge, will continue to be permitted to park on site and there is a designated accessible parking area to the front of Gibbs building. Motorbike parking will also be available next door to the Smoking Shelter in this area for staff motorbike permit holders.
We apologise for any inconvenience and where possible, we would ask all staff, students and visitors attending the campus to use public parking and transport.
Campus directions, maps and public transport information is available in the following link https://www.brookes.ac.uk/about-brookes/contacts-maps-and-campuses/
The available visitor car parking will be reduced and relocated to spaces outside Fuller and certain designated Contractor parking spaces at Gipsy Lane.
Similar to the current visitor parking system, visitors will need to speak to security upon arrival at Gipsy lane to be informed of their specific visitor parking space. They will also need to clearly display their booking confirmation email when parking at Campus.
These spaces are still bookable on a first come, first served basis. If there are not any spaces available and the visitors still would like to drive to the Campus, there are public car parks located in and around the Headington area as well as the Oxford Park and rides.
